The price of Nokia N900 is droping even before its launch
It seems that Nokia still haven’t started to ship N900 yet. The delivery date is delayed again. A new rumor said N900 will be available in local stores since tomorrow (N0v. 19) or Nov. 20.
Since Motorola Droid, a competitor of N900, launched about 2 weeks, its price have dropped 100 USD. According to pocketables, “N900 drops in price yet again, thanks to $50 rebate from Nokia”. So maybe the delay of N900′s delivery is not so bad — longer the delay more price drop there could be
But for people who already made payment for their pre-order, this is a little bit embarrassing.
The price of Nokia N900 on Amazon is only about 510 USD (with rebate), which is almost the half of price in Nokia online store in Europe. I found it quite ridiculous, if there is not better deal of N900 in Europe. I will only consider to buy it with a price no higher what is on Amazon now.
