Nokia N900 unboxing and comparison with Motorola Droid (1)

There are many people including myself are hesitating about the choice between Nokia N900 and Motorola Droid. However, a lucky guy, who bought a Motorola Droid himself and received a N900 from Nokia as draw prize, posted a comparison between these two hot smartphones on ifanr. Here is a translation of his post.

The packaging of Nokia N900 looks much better than that of Motorola Droid. There are also more accessories, including a CVBS video/audio cable, in the package of N900.

The screen size of N900 is 3.5 inch, which is obvious a little bit smaller than Droid (3.7 inch).

The browser of N900 (the upper one) is almost twice faster than Droid (the lower one) in the photo below, when the browser of N900 had load the page completely, the Droid only displayed a title).

N900 (the upper one) could play flash directly in the browser (a video on Youtube in the photo below) while Droid (the lower one) has built-in Youtube app which has much better video quality by default.

The 3D game bounce on N900 uses ccelerometer and OpenGL ES.  Its picture quality is good enough to compare with 3D games on iPhone and much better than those on Android.

N900 can connect to TV via the CVBS cable.
